write a paper focusing on Erikson’s eight psychosocial stages in your own development.
Each of Erikson’s eight psychosocial stages involves a crisis which is resolved in a social context. The resolution of a crisis means finding a healthy balance between the two poles, hopefully with a significant tendency for resolution toward the positive end. Your application of Erikson’s theory should acknowledge both ends of the continuum for each of the eight stages of the theory and describe the balance you believe you have achieved between these poles. You have passed through the first four stages and are currently working on any combination of Identity, Intimacy, & Generativity stages depending on your unique pathway at this time in your life. In older adulthood, you will focus on Integrity. For the stages you have not yet experienced, you will be asked to foresee possible experiences and resolutions for yourself. Specifically, in this paper you will:
.. Discuss the struggle and resolution of the first four stages of Erikson’s theory according to your past. Since this is a psychosocial theory, identify the significant others and social contexts in your life that have provided a foundation to your unique resolution.
• Discuss Erikson’s theory regarding the major tasks of Identity and Intimacy in your past or current life course. Again, identify significant others and social contexts that play a role in these stages.
• Discuss Generativity and how you have or expect to resolve that crisis. Again, identify significant others and social contexts that play a role in these stages.
