Choose a case – study of a brand, a garment, a retailer or a marketing strategy which you have a developed an interest in. Reflect upon this case stud y in terms of its cultural relevance and association with contemporary issues debated in class (for ex. sustainability, whiteness, gender, fashion change, etc.). Include suitable and relevant primary research, regarding your chosen case – study (e.g. visual observation, material analysis). Authors discussed in class and suggested on the Reading List must be used in your essay, which should bring together a minimum of 10 good academic references from academic journals or books. These may be supplemented with reliable websites, trade journals, newspapers and magazine references.
