This assignment is intended to develop your research skills in finding useful and relevant sources for you to reference; After selecting your monitoring plan topic, find 10 peer-reviewed sources that pertain to your project topic. All sources/journal articles must have been published in the past 15 years (post-2000). Journal articles can be searched for in a variety of places, but I would suggest Google Scholar (scholar.google.com) or the U of M Library (www.lib.umn.edu) MCAT plus Search under ‘Articles’ in ‘Environmental Studies or Natural Resources’ or ‘Physical Sciences or Mathematics’.
Write an annotated bibliography summarizing your 10 peer-reviewed journal articles. For each annotation, provide the full citation of the article and write 2-3 paragraphs of 5-10 sentences describing why they did the research, how they did the research (methods), what they found, and what did it mean, or how can the information be used by others. Journal articles should be cited in the following format:
