Develop their own educational/leadership philosophy platform. This document will represent the candidate’s views and beliefs with regard to educational leadership at a classroom, school and district level. A well-articulated and researched educational/leadership philosophy will take into consideration: the role of the student, teacher, administrator and other stakeholders. Strong and persuasive arguments will provide a rationale for the chosen platform. The candidate concisely states the philosophy’s essential purposes and priorities, beliefs and dispositions, and theories and practices that address relevant, current issues in education and guide the candidate’s approach to teaching, learning, interactions with others, and professional performance.
