The complex nature of parent/child relationships

In the last stanza of those winter sundays”,the narrator poses a question: “what did i know, what did i know/of loves austere and lonely offices?” in this poem, for whom is love” austere and lonely”‘, and why?

in the introduction, you might discuss the complex nature of parent/child relationships or the different ways parents express love for their children since all the poems deal with parent/child relationships. offer your thesis your direct answer to one of the three question, at the end of your introduction.try to move from general to specific in the introduction.
2) in the body ,support your thesis via quotation and anaysis. follow the topic sentence, quotations, analysis format. all analysis here should be original to you. please dont do any research. i want to see how you think.
in the conclusion, comment the poets technique.for example, you could comment on wilburs use of extended metaphor in “the writer” why does he use a “boat” metaphor? for “those winter sundays” you could examine haydens word choices, how the sound of the words reflects the tense conditions inside the house. these are just some ideas you are not restricted to only discussing the above suggestion. give yourself about 3/4 of a typed page to do this in other words, dont truncate the conclusion by offering only a few limp sentences. instead quote and analyze.try to not only identify the poets use of a technical device but also explain how using that device helps the poets better communicate his or her idea. you can also do this by thinking about what effect such a device has on the reader of the poem, namely you
