Cultural difference on Sandra Cisneros’ House on Mango Street, Toni Cade Bambara’s The Lesson, and Amy Tan’s Two Kinds.

In spite of the cultural differences that exist among the protagonists of “Two Kinds,” “House on Mango Street” and “The Lesson,” how do the protagonists from these stories demonstrate universal emotions and conflicts that are shared by all humans regardless of culture or race.
