Theories of Second Language Acquisition

We have learned general theories of SLA (Second Language Acquisition) as developed by Krashen, Cummins, Chomsky, Behaviorist theory, nativist theory, and etc. We have also discussed the personality factors (individual, affective and cognitive) that can influence SLA. By synthesizing these two sets of knowledge, explain the connection that you make between “the particular” (personality factors) and “the general” (theories of SLA) as you develop your knowledge about education of bilingual students.
