The Dilemmma of Humanitarian Intervention

Despite the warm welcome of the ‘responsibility to protect’ (R2P) doctrine by various states in the world, the Security Council had only invoked this doctrine a few times as a justification to intervene (Darfur, Libya, Kenya).
