How do we find ourselves through reading

Reflect on this process of reading: how do you read? What do you read? Who authors what you read? Do you ever feel that your knowledge, or what you know, is not available in what you read but that someone else’s knowledge is supposedly more legitimate? Even, what do you learn about yourself from what you read?
