Frequently, many students do not read plays or attend live theater. Although film (movies) are in one sense “drama,” there are some differences between watching a Harry Potter movie, created from a screenplay, and reading a play or watching live theater.
Objective
To read a play and experience the differences among drama, poetry, and short fiction.
- Read pps. 631-633 Summarize what you read in a minimum of 350 words.
- Read the play, Trifles, found on pps. 634-645 and Answer questions 1-14 on page 646 (Be sure to answer all fourteen questions). Each question should be answered in a minimum of 150 words.
