In this assignment you will interview an individual who works in the mental health field. Please ensure that no identifying information of the interviewee or any client info is included in the paper.
Invite the interviewee to discuss their role as a social worker in the field of mental health. This may include asking about systemic issues, common client presenting concerns, ways in which social workers support clients experiencing mental health concerns, prevention, promoting mental wellness, etc.
You will also be required to reflect on your own experiences (biases, beliefs, values), what you have learned from the interview and the course material to discuss how you, as a beginning practitioner, will work with and support individuals and families experiencing mental health con- cernsIdentify areas of strengths as well as potential barriers and challenges in your emerging practice and how you may address these as you move into the field.
