The success of an innovative company depends on managing each of the three stages of the innovation value chain successfully. Like in a chain, if one stage of weak the innovation output suffers. Dyson presents the case of a successful innovative company which would indicate that the three stages of the innovation value chain have been managed successfully. Your task is to analyse how has Dyson been able to manage the three stages of the innovation value chain successfully. In the analysis, the focus should be to evaluate the various practices of Dyson during each of the three stages and how it contributes to the successful management of each of the three stages. Both the readings on innovation value chain point out to possible solutions and best approaches to manage each stage successfully and it would be useful to relate how the practices of Dyson are aligned to the possible solutions and approaches towards effective management.
