or this discussion, you will begin by watching a 40 minute video clip of an experienced child and adolescent counselor, Dr. Violet Oaklander, in a first session with a 13-year-old boy named Blake. As you watch the video, think about the various skills that you have read about in chapters 2 – 4, in The Elements of Counseling Children and Adolescents.
After you’ve watched the video, develop a main response in which you address the following:
