Metabolic Disorders Case #2: A 50-year-old female has been referred to out-patient
rehabilitation with a diagnosis of right shoulder adhesive capsulitis. She is an
administrative assistant at a local high school. Her medical history includes Type 2
Diabetes. She was hospitalized 14 months ago for Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Her current
medications are 1 mg/bid of repaglinide, 20 mg/day of ramipril, 81mg/day of aspirin, a
multivitamin, and a magnesium supplement.
