COMMENTS ON CHAPTER ONE.
1.Re state the statement of the problem but provide evidence.trace elections from 1963 and discuss each successive elections by showing how electoral system influence violence during and after each elections
2.capture the statement of the problem in two paragraph at the final paragraph of the statement of the problem.
3.adopt the overall objective as to investigate the the failure of the electoral system and its influence on post election violence in post colonial Kenya and the first three specific objectives as
1.to critically examine the the nature of electoral system in Kenya from post colonial to the present
2.to assess the nature and intensity of post election violence in Kenya
3.to analyse the challenges the electoral system in Kenya faces in relation to organizing and managing elections in Kenya.
4.provide clear academic and policy justification for the study.
4.For each chapter provide an introduction and summary not a conclusion.
COMMENTS ON CHAPTER TWO
- Provide Review of literature thematically as per the general overall objective and as per each specific three objectives as indicated above while in each case highlighting emerging gaps in knowledge.
2.conceptual framework,provide the proponent…propagator of the theory,its main tenets and relevance to the study variable.
he suggested that each theory must address the independent variable in this study which is electoral system and the other theory must address dependent variable in this study which is …post election violence
and provide justification for the conceptual framework used.
COMMENTS ON CHAPTER THREE.
1.Justify study area and provide clear labelled map including source.
2.provide elements of study population and how each will be sampled and sample size arrived at to contribute to total sample
3.add more references especially journals done by Kenyan scholars ,African scholars eg KORWA ADAR,FOX AJULU,ROGER SOUTHHALL,FRANK K MATANGA,OKOTH ETC
4.Tables and figures must be well labelled and provide sources.
kindly study carefully the suggested areas for improvement and revision and highlight exactly where these are done and contained or provide correction matrix.showing pages etc
