The aim of this part of the assessment is for you to demonstrate that you have mastered the practical skills of preparing a comprehensive position description to later support the development of a recruitment and selection strategy.
The next step is to CONDUCT a job analysis for your chosen job and prepare a detailed Position Description drawing on the tools and methods we discuss in Seminar 2. You will need to clearly identify how the job fits within the organisation, the tasks and responsibilities and the knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics (KSAO’s) that a person will require to be successful in the job.
