The story of the flood

Compare and contrast the three uses of “flood” as a way to describe human creation or
recreation.
Be aware of the approximate dates of creation of the accounts. The Epic of Gilgamesh was
approximately 2000 BC, the Genesis account approximately 950 BC, and Plato’s dialogue with
Timaeus approximately 350BC.
