First, watch the following TED talk video “The Symbols of Systemic Racism-and how take away their Power” by Paul Rucker.
Second, answer the following questions using evidence and support from the Sensoy and DiAngelo textbook:
1) What is intersectionality? Choose a 2 to 3 of your other social group memberships (class, gender, sexuality, religion) (Please use Asian, Women, and Christianity) and describe how they influence how you experience race? (Ch. 8 )
2) What do the authors mean when they used the term White Supremacy? How does White Supremacy manifest in institutions? (Ch. 9 )
