Description

A central component of genocide and mass killing is when the government or major group in power creates a minority group as a dangerous “other” or enemy of the state. This often includes defining the minority group as undermining the nation or state during war or conflict, working with or for an enemy nation, or being somehow dangerous to the unity and community of the majority group or nation, Please choose ONE of the following genocides that we have examined (Armenian, Jewish Holocaust, Cambodian Genocide, Rwandan Genocide and Genocide in the former Yugoslavia and explore how the government or majority group defined the victim group as dangerous and subject to violent, programmatic genocide. Please be historical in contextualizing this process and use course materials to support your response. Please have a thesis, clear arguments, MLA style notes, and careful editing.
