Media literacy entails the application that permits social beings to explore, develop, critically analyze and determine media.

- Explain how you can determine the difference between something false (an “alternative fact”) or true.
One can apply reasoning as well as problem-solving methodologies to establish when something is false while in determining whether something is true memory is used.
Okay – but there’s more to it than this please add - How can you determine if an article is biased?
An article is biased if it is not intended to teach or inform its audience. Articles with much information portraying emotions and not logic or proven facts are biased. An article on contentious issues should have arguments and counterarguments. Hence in case of a limited view without opposing arguments, the article becomes biased. The use of offensive languages when writing an article implies biasness.
Okay – arguments are, by their nature, biased, regardless of whether they discuss the opposing view. Also, there are more ways to determine bias in what are they. - Tell me what your biases are in terms of politics and/or science. How do those biases influence what you read or watch in the media?
