Information Literacy

Section 1:
Describe how you found at least four of your sources of information used in your persuasive speech. Sources must be from any of the following databases: Opposing Viewpoints in Context, Ebsco host, Lexis Nexis, Credo Reference. Clearly identify the database or search engine used.

Section 2:
Discuss why you chose each source. Investigate the author, publication, and site (if used) and comment on the credibility of each. Also, comment on the recency of the information. Does the date of publication have an effect on your evaluation of the article?

Section 3:
Discuss how you integrated the research into your speech. Using the four sources, clearly indicate what ideas and/or information the source contained that made it useful to you. How did you use the information you found through research in your speech?
