- Give examples of how the outputs of the organizational plan and the services utilization plan relate to the process theory objectives.
The organizational plan consists of the various resources that are required for the successful implementation and sustainability of the program. It encompasses different resources and capacity elements that are to be used in the program such as personnel, infrastructure, IT, finances, etc. The organizational plan includes cause and effect analysis. For example, if supplies needed to implement the program are provided in the right quantity, at the right time and right place, then the program staff will implement processes efficiently. Thus, it helps in evaluating the logic behind the requisition of various resources and ultimately guiding the plans that focus on the process behind the successful delivery of the program.
The service utilization plan deals with reaching the target audience and the effective delivery of services. It includes logistics to make the program easily available and accessible and analysis of other procedures. The service plan needs to reflect the aptness of the services to the target base of the audience.
Thus, the outputs of the organizational plan and service utilization plan form the basis of process theory which are continually optimized to achieve the process and ultimately program objectives.
- What type of social marketing would you use?
Social marketing is an approach used to develop activities aimed at changing or maintaining people’s behavior for the benefit of individuals and society as a whole. Combining ideas from commercial marketing and the social sciences, social marketing is a proven tool for influencing behavior in a sustainable and cost-effective way. I would use discussion forums like Reddit, Quora, or Digg because people use these networks to find, discuss, and share news, information, and opinions.
- How might you minimize under-inclusion or over inclusion in such a health program?
Parameters to be eligible to a healthcare program need to be clearly defined
Before developing the healthcare program, the intended audience or beneficiaries of the program need to be clearly defined and identified
Provision to accommodate any exceptional cases need to be kept and the situations that specify the exceptions need to be defined
There should be a solid marketing plan in place to clearly publicize the plan and its inclusions and limitations.
