Descriptive essays

Descriptive essays create images in the minds of readers. To aid in that process, use figurative languages such as similes, metaphors, and personification. You should also use descriptive adjectives and sensory images to describe your topic. I will be looking for these literary devices within your essay. Write a five-paragraph essay, which should include your attention grabber, thesis, topic sentences, and conclusion. The paragraphs are five to twelve sentences in length. Do read the chapter on descriptive essays, especially the essay titled “Mr. Rogers Don’t Live Here”
