The requirements of the research paper are 1) you must introduce and define a literary concept using Meyer in your intro and formulate a thesis based on the concept. 2) there must be at least one quote from your primary source in every body paragraph. 3) You must have at least two quotes from secondary sources. 4) You are only required to write on one short story (you can also write on one poem if it provides enough material for a three to five page paper (this is now the required length). 5)You must use MLA citation and include a works cited sheet. Please identify tenor and vehicle in each quoted metaphor.
Start introduction paragraph as followed “According to Meyer an extended metaphor is a sustained comparison in which part or all of a poem consists of a series of related metaphors.”
Also this paper will have to be based on the poems i have uploaded, incorporated both of them in the research paper as you see fit.
