A process around Nike’s background

Describe a process around Nike’s background, such as orienting a new employee (HR). Be sure that your
process is narrowly focused (i.e., rather than choosing “publicizing an event” choose “identify and arrange an
event location”). For the process you choose:

1. Briefly describe the process flow.
2. Create a process map (i.e., flowchart or other display).
3. List the value-added activities that take place in the process.
4. List several wasteful (i.e., non-value-added) activities that take place in the process.
5. Based on your own experience, come up with two activities that you think might add value or waste, or you
   might want to share your own experience through a similar process.
