This assignment must be completed at an acceptable rate in order to pass this course.
The final project / capstone requires completion of a critically evaluative research paper that is no less
than 1200 words and written in APA style. The research paper should address how modern day,
progressive law enforcement agencies can improve relations with minority communities. Do not limit
yourself only to race, but consider other minority communities that may have a difficult relationship with
law enforcement. Other communities could include: homeless, homosexual, physically or mentally
disabled, etc.
