A picture, screenshot or snip of your Workbench to see what you were seeing during the experiment. You can
pick any trial, not necessarily the “best” one.
The number of trials you ultimately performed.
Initial and final amounts of the NaOH used for each trial.
The calculated molarity of the NaOH solution from the “best” trial you performed. Please show me your
calculations whether you type them or write them out by hand.
Any issues or problems you foresee that could result from performing a titration in a lab setting and how that
would affect your results.
Assuming that you have correctly determined the molarity of your NaOH solution, please calculate the molarity
of an unknown acid if you used 10.000mL of the unknown acid and it took 15.200mL of your standardized
NaOH to reach the equivalence point of the acid.
These required items are also listed at the end of the attached instruction sheet. There is a bit of a learning
curve with the virtual software so take some time to play around with it before you really try to perform the lab.
It will be much easier that way. My hope is that the instructions will guide you through easily, but please give
me feedback or ask questions if something doesn’t work or quite seem right. You will have over a week to work
on this one since it’s more than simple calculations. As alwasy, if you run into problems, just let me know and I
will be happy to help.
