By doing so, you are summarizing the data visually. This projects provides you with one of many real-world
applications fro which Microsoft Excel is used for. In this project, you will establish a pie chart as well as a
columnar chart to summarize given data.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
ABC, Inc. is a business that has multiple stores found in Decatur, Athens, Huntsville, and Madison. Below is
the data showing the revenues made in each store during the years 2015 through 2018.

The workbook has two worksheet objects. One containing the data as shown above while the other one
contains the graphs which you will construct in this problem. Be sure to add a new sheet object if needed.
Switch to “sheet1” object and enter the data above if “sheet2” is the active sheet object.
Enter the data found in the above table.
Compute the average, highest, and lowest revenue for each year.
Compute the average, highest, and lowest revenue for each store.
Create a 3-D pie chart comparing the revenues’ averages for the four stores. The chart should meet the
following specs:-
The chart should have a title. Be sure to choose a meaningful title for the chart.
The chart should have legends. They should be placed at the bottom.
Include labels showing the store location and the percentages.
Explodes the highest pie chart’s slice.
Add an arrow pointing to the highest slice and a textbox object containing the label “Highest percentage”. Both
the arrow and the textbox object should be found in the chart area object.
Move the pie chart object to the worksheet titled “Sheet2”.
Create a clustered- column chart which compares the four stores’ revenues in each year. The chart should
