Your paper should include the following content:
Theoretical Foundation: Include a brief description of the theory(ies) in your paper. This description should
include a discussion of the assumption and assertions of the theory(ies). Define and explain any key terms
used in the assertions.
Evidence of Theory in Movie/Show: Briefly describe the plot and key characters (i.e., those used in your paper)
of the movie. Specify how the movie exemplifies the theory. For each of the theory’s key assertions, provide
examples of how the assertions are demonstrated in the movie. If the movie does not contain an example or
description of a specific assertion, articulate this in your paper. The examples you provide serve as the “proof”
of the theory. This portion of the paper is worth approximately one-third of the total points for the assignment.
Make sure that you provide ample evidence of the theory.
Writing Style: Make sure that you check your paper for grammar and spelling mistakes (most of which can be
found using the Spell Check and Grammar Check tools in your word processing software). The best papers will
be those that
use clear and concise writing;
are well organized; and
contain easy transitions between points of discussion, making the flow of the paper seem effortless.
