The correspondence theory of truth and the coherence theory of truth

Two theories of truth are the correspondence theory of truth and the coherence
theory of truth. Both differ in a few significant ways but the main difference is found in what
counts as the truth-maker, that is, what makes statements true. Choose the claim you will
defend in your essay from the following two options:
In this essay I will defend the claim that individual statements are true or false according to
how accurately they describe (correspond) to state of affairs in the world.
