Write an approximately 500-600-word persuasive essay on a historical or contemporary educationalist whose work has influenced the field of education.
The goal of your essay is to convince your reader that the educationalist you have chosen has made very important contributions to education.
Your essay should be organized in the following way:
• Introduction: Establish the identity of the educationalist. Provide background information. Define and briefly explain approaches or concepts associated with the person. Include the thesis statement.
• Body paragraphs: In several paragraphs explain and defend your thesis statement. What contributions has the educationalist made to education? Why and how are these significant? How have these impacted teaching and learning?
• Conclusion: Provide a brief summary of the main points in the essay.
• Reference list: Make sure that all evidence from outside sources are referenced in-text and included in the reference list. Include minimum 5 references from the ZU Library databases.
