Your research report culminates our Q/DA module and hopefully provides you with useful results you can use
in your ongoing research projects. At the very least, you will have a new tool in your arsenal of research
methods.
For your Q/DA Research Report, please include:
1.An explanation of your research question (it is fine if this has evolved since your Q/DA Prospectus).
- A synopsis of what you did to set up and conduct your quantitative or data analysis research. This should be
relatively detailed and should draw on your project notes.
3.Your work product, in whatever condition it ends up. This will vary depending on your project, materials,
sample size, methodology, and result type. I encourage you to produce visual representations of your results in
the form of charts, graphs, maps, diagrams, or (if feasible) visualizations.
4.An analysis of your results – what did you learn about your object of study? Do your numerical results help
you understand your research question and topic in a new light? Please explain!
5.A section considering any new research questions or directions provoked by your results and analysis. You
might also consider further uses for quantitative methods in your future research work. Are there other
programs, applications, techniques, or methodologies you would like to try out?
