Verbal and Nonverbal Taboos in America

Some of the taboos I believe are in American culture are:
-Discussing salaries, employees keep to themselves what they earn in a company and will rarely share this
information with others.
-Chewing loudly/mouth open, people who do this in public are viewed as rude.
-Physically disciplining your children in public when they misbehave can be viewed as child abuse by others.
These are some of the taboos I’ve noticed, but feel free to use your own taboos
