Realism, Regionalism, and Naturalism

As the introductory section on “Realism, Regionalism, and Naturalism” (what I posted before this question)
makes clear, each of these key terms provides a way of thinking about a broader and distinct approach to
fiction-writing even as those lines blur in any given story. Using the definitions offered in that introductory
section, choose two stories that enable an interesting reflection of either Realism, Regionalism, or Naturalism.
TRY TO SHOW HOW THE STORIES CONNECT TO ONE OF THEM—Beyond merely aligning a given story
with a broader generic definition, however, note what each author manages to accomplish by working in that
mode (what, that is, does a realistic, a naturalistic, or a regional approach offer the writer).
