Accessibilty to Domestic Violence Services

Why is learning about the accessibility of crisis intervention services important in the field of domestic violence? Is there a general problem with
getting services to the people who need them and identify the people who need them; do victims know about or feel more comfortable accessing
services? Explain why the topic is important and what are the issues in the field of domestic violence; and then what is your research question and
why does or how will it contribute to solving problems in domestic violence.(My research questions are how accessible are crisis intervention services
for domestic violence victims in the United States, what determines and/or impacts accessibility, what factors impact help-seeking among minorities,
and What contributes to the surge in domestic violence incidents occurring in the U.S since the emergence of Covid-19?)
Explain why community-based participatory research is beneficial and a good methodology for conducting future research to get more insight into
minority male victims’ lived experiences and their access to domestic violence services. What are the limitations of your research and the use of this
methodology? If you were to conduct this research, what do you hope will be learned or understood? Why is it significant and important?
