Conduct a critical comparative analysis of policy created for women in the film industry in the EU and US, explaining arguments around the significance of policy making in this industry. Be careful to establish evaluative criteria by which you define the ‘success’ of a policy and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of alternative policy approaches. There are real policies that have seen the light of day since the metoo movement that are meant to safeguard women on set – please discuss this.
