AAVE in relation to identity

Please shortly answer these following questions:-) It should be fairly short and to the point while also have
some theory in it which I will provide.
How come AAVE has developed as a distinct variety and which factors have contributed to this?
How is AAVE classified as a variety in its own right? (What are the arguments?)
