The lack of communication and trust between teammates was creating some friction that was impacting the project (Haniff and Salama, 2016; Delice, Rousseau and Feitosa, 2019). Putting
efforts into improving the communication between teammates will pay off in the long term, improving the
relationship between teammates and their efficiency.
Why do you feel this resonated with you?
The feedback received was very enlightening and I understood it immediately. I was just focusing on delivering
the tasks while leaving the people unattended. This behavior reflected poor leadership on my end (Stodgily,
1974; Northouse, 2019). I knowingly decided to work on my own since I did not trust my teammates enough to
delegate on them, given some past negative experiences. However, avoiding the problem is not a solution,
instead we worked in our communication which is the key to solving trust issues (Clegg et al., 2019).
