Once you have read through it, please post your thoughts on the White paper. There is a great deal of controversy as to what constitutes a DNP Project. This AACN White Paper had little to no effect on our program at UNF as we were already in compliance with the recommendations. It has caused significant strife in other programs. Do you think AACN was on the right track by clarifying the recommendations for the DNP Project or was it too prescriptive? Does this add credibility to the degree? What could they have done differently or do you agree with their findings?
