After watching “Forever Chinatown,” create a scene or space related to your project, either in words, as a drawing, or as blueprint or map. What environments do you want to “freeze” and be able to enter into in the future? What moments do you want to record and recall? What sights, smells, sounds, and sensations fill the scene? Who–as well as what–is there? Like Frank Wong, take your time creating and placing each detail, approaching them with care and reverence.
