Key success factors for the Aspen

As a Human Resource Consultant, you will be providing recommendations regarding the HR/staffing strategies and processes utilized in an organization within the hospitality industry.  Paper #1 is focused on “Banff Aspen Lodge: Staffing for Success” by Laurie George Busutti and Susan J. Van Weelden (2019) Ivey.  After reviewing the case and other assigned reading (textbook, articles, etc.) please address the following areas and incorporate relevant course concepts.

Section 1 (Business Priorities): Please outline key success factors for the Aspen and why these are important for the business.
Section 2 (Talent Requirements & Staffing Strategies): Please provide a brief job description/job posting for a Front Desk staff member (including key requirements) to post on internal/external websites.  Please provide a list of potential staffing strategies.
Section 3 (Hiring Criteria & Candidate Assessment): Identify the hiring criteria based on these requirements, and apply them to the resumes included in the case. Please identify the candidates you would interview and your rationale.
Section 4 (Interview Questions): Please provide a consistent set of 3-5 ‘baseline’ questions you would ask all of the candidates.
Section 5 (HRM Process Recommendations Moving Forward): Please analyze strengths and weaknesses in Aspen’s HRM processes. Provide some recommendations for improving the human resource planning, recruitment, selection, and onboarding/training.
