Assignment:
If the purpose of the great commission is to make disciples, and making disciples is a long-term project, what is the benefit, if any, of short-term mission trips? Are they more for the people going on the trip, the people who live in that area? Do they to some extent just become spiritual tourism, or are they doing a great work for the Lord? Have you been on one? In light of what we’ve discussed thus far, reflect back on it and analyze your experiences.
