4. Research the artist and artwork. Explore issues concerning the artist’s First Amendment right to freedom of speech and any litigation against the artist. 3) What is the artwork’s merit or relevance for contemporary art today?

6) Was there litigation against the artist? Was the artist forced to remove the artwork? Who complained about the artwork and why?
