Jonathan Kozol is an esteemed and inspiring educator who has brought to our attention the egregious inequities in funding public school education in this country.You have read a short excerpt from one of his iconic books, Savage Inequalities in Chapter 6, p. 214, and I hope the video will increase your understanding of the problems. At the same time, we can be somewhat hopeful that efforts are being made to address some of these major issues through legislative reforms, particularly at the state level.
