Phonetics and phonology

In our study of phonetics and phonology we explored the production of various sounds with respect to such features as voicing, place of articulation, manner of articulation, frontness, lip rounding, etc. Our examination also included a discussion of phonemes, minimal pairs, allophones, complementary distribution, and free variation. As an EFL/ESL instructor, draw on one or more of these concepts in designing a 30-minute pronunciation lesson for adult learners* at the intermediate level. Focus on a particular set of English phonemes for your lesson.
Explain how you would apply your concepts of choice to design a lesson with clear objectives and relevant activities for your learners. Use examples from the course readings to justify your proposed lesson plan.
