Thorpe’s explanation of Weber’s thinking

Be sure you have a firm grasp of Thorpe’s explanation of Weber’s thinking about scientists and ethics in comparison to politicians and ethics. If you are not
familiar with Weber’s thinking you might find it of use to explore it a bit as background. In the primary source documents, do you see the scientists, and
Oppenheimer in particular, fitting Weber’s categories or is there something else going on? What do the documents on targeting the bombs tell you that you
haven’t seen in Rotter or Walker?
