The Anne Moody book, Coming of Age in Mississippi.

I wonder. I wonder.

We shall overcome. We shall overcome.

We shall overcome someday.

I WONDER. I really WONDER.

At the end of Coming of Age in Mississippi Anne Moody is decidedly ambiguous about the future of race relations in America. Based on Moodys experience in the book, from Childhood on through the Movement, write a 4-5 page (1200-1500 words) paper in which you use Moodys life experience to argue that she should be either optimistic or pessimistic about Americas future. The concern of this paper is NOT your opinion on what you believe comes after Moodys book but to analyze what she has lived through and to assess her own ambiguity about the future of race relations in America based on her experience in the Black Freedom Movement.
