In the essay, you MUST identify a specific legislative proposition (or bill or law), introduced in California and analy
pros and cons of the legislation.
Paper Requirements:
State and explain your position, provide policy recommendations, and discuss their impact on the community and
state.
Also, include the irrationality that this proposition (or bill/law) is attempting to address AND/OR the irrationality tha
attempting to exploit.
Be sure to address the concerns of the opposing view in the essay as well.
Include an argumentative thesis statement that answers your research question and states your position on the
legislation.
Prove your thesis with specific and persuasive quoted evidence (with quotation sandwiches) from reliable, unbias
sources. Include at least one quotation per body paragraph.
You MUST include our course text, Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions,
and a total of 5-7 outside sources from the internet and the Shasta College library.
