          You are a courtier at the court of Louis XIV. Write a letter home where you describe your life at court. Describe the palace, gardens and art work on display at court. What has Louis XIV been up to? What kind of personal interactions have you and your fellow courtiers had with him? What is your opinion of his reign and governing practices? Write this in the first person. Feel free to dish up some juicy gossip.
