Describe a process around Nike’s background, such as orienting a new employee (HR). Be sure that your
process is narrowly focused (i.e., rather than choosing “publicizing an event” choose “identify and arrange an
event location”). For the process you choose:
- Briefly describe the process flow.
- Create a process map (i.e., flowchart or other display).
- List the value-added activities that take place in the process.
- List several wasteful (i.e., non-value-added) activities that take place in the process.
- Based on your own experience, come up with two activities that you think might add value or waste, or you
might want to share your own experience through a similar process.
